Searching YouTube I found this piston being used in a Lynx cylinder.  Anyone having this done?

Wonder if that's for weight reduction on the big bore piston, or for oil retention? Cool idea though.

Got a link for the YouTube video?

How are you cleaning the UNI or Twin-Air foam filters?

A lot of guys like dunking them in used gas, but I felt that was too harmful to the filter. So I soak them in warm soapy water with dish soap.

I've had great luck with UNI and an Outerwears

Well, I’m dropping off the engine this week to DBC Racing for a rebuild. It’s really hard to start and get/keep running, and I can roll it over with my hand. I hope it’s a quick turnaround and I can be back in the game for the next race.

DBC racing is a good shop. They'll do it right for ya

Well done! XC racing is fun as hell. Haven't raced a GNCC since 2018. Gotta get back into it!

I always wanted one of his motors. That's a shame he passed away. RIP Rob.

Absolutely love my Rath nerf bars. I do wish I went with heel guards though. But the pegs are so damn sharp there ain't no way in hell my boot is slipping off.

Just started listening to Cody Janssen's  "Digging Deep" podcast a few days ago. The Shane Hitt episode is pretty funny. Some great stuff in there. Also the first Kory Ellis episode was really good. I haven't listened to ATV talk yet with Duncan. Gonna try it out today

Can't see the pic of it for some reason. Hope he's doing well and not trying to get out of the industry...

Welcome to the .ORG Forum!

You got some good looking bikes there.

Isn't Laeger's racing located in France, or somewhere else in Europe? You can get your a-arms and swingarm there

Very nice! I like the Paul Turner pipe. Reminds me of my old Sparks MX.

Looks like you've got a great foundation for your build. Keep us updated.

Engine and Bottom End / Re: Big bore cylinder
« on: June 01, 2021, 12:37:07 PM »
Do we have any opinions on big bore kit for the trx250r? Look for a 330 or a 350 cylinder. The sphynx cylinder can you use a big bore exhaust or have one built for the sphynx.

Lots of good options for 330-350cc BB kits. ESR and CPI Sphynx cylinders are the most common. Sphynx being the higher-end of the two. Big bore exhaust needed for 350cc+. Plenty of big bore exhaust options.

If $$$ is no object to you......go with the Sphynx ported by your engine builder of choice.
