Ok. The guy who did mine added a fly wheel weight to mine to help combat it he said. It was terrible to try an start. Going to take some practice to get used to.

Does your hpi have major kickback? Mine has terrible kickback if it's not at top dead center

If it's say a cdi issue or stator I'd hate to buy a replacement for big money, but a hpi is $320 something complete.

It ran fantastic on the first R ride and up till that Sunday on very last ride. Then after climbing the drag hill, it all of a sudden started running like garbage cutting out real bad when I gave it gas. I had to be towed back. Now it's doing the same thing on my brand new motor when I give it some thumb it acts like a throttle limiter. Hard to explain properly. It idles great, but blip the throttle it cuts out. Not a jet issue, electrical for sure. Ran a ground from coil and no changes. Bought a new coil, but the company sent a cr500 lol.
