The Mad Scientist / Flywheels
« on: February 14, 2024, 03:04:30 PM »
Figured I’d start a discussion about flywheels.  Ricky Statior use to make a 1986-1989 TRX250R flywheel.  Electrosport makes a flywheel for a 1999 CR250R.  Interesting to see MSV Racing Powersports is working on a flywheel for the CR500.

What are we going to do for flywheels?  Hard to find.  Ask Ricky Stator to make them again?  Another manufacturer?

Item #5 on the crankcase diagram.

1985 ATC250R is part number 22815-HA2-000

1986 ATC250R and 1986-1989 TRX250R is 22815-HA2-670

The 85 atc250r part is on the left.

Same wire diameter.  Same number of coils.  Color is different.  Just bringing up slight differences for future atc/trx 250r restorations

Suspension and Chassis / Beringer front master cylinder
« on: January 04, 2024, 07:41:09 PM »
Is anyone using a Beringer front master cylinder?  If so what model Beringer?  Using Trx250R calipers or something different?

Thanks

Joe
