You wont see hardly any pro-x kits chosen over esr kits today. I would look into the esr ceo kits.

I love my weber gas grill. I actually got a natural gas rigged one with a quick disconnect right there on the back patio. I never have to even think about running out of fuel for the fire. I have had it around 15 years or so but I don't use it more then once every other week on average. I do need to replace the flavorizor bars between the burner and grill this year but they are only around $45 so that's not bad at all for it's age. Mine is one of the regular black ones and I don't have a cover for it but I could go give it a fast wash right now and you would think it is maybe 2 years old.

Our friend got in his Rob Selvey squabble work recently but there was something interesting to what he said. I have no idea if it is true but he said boss was going to have those case made in China or Taiwan. I hope that they are not a China knockoff copy of the esr hd case that they put all of that work into making. We do need cases and discontinued items available but I don't think that cheap China crap is what we need. If a company is having esr and cpi products copied or simi copied in China I will not be a fan.

I hope that is a temporary thing and not permanent.

Carlen Gardner got 2nd overall at the world 2 stroke championships on a ESR CEO PV yz250.
He went 3-1 winning moto 2 for 2nd overall.
The hills and ruff track of Glen Helen along with this field of riders and equipment were a good test of the ESR CEO.
I read or heard somewhere that he lost his rear brakes while in 2nd in moto 1 so this was a close shot at an overall run but 2nd is still a great result at this event.

Carlen Gardner just got 2nd overall in open pro at the World 2 Stroke Championships on a ESR CEO PV equipped YZ250. He went 3 -1 in the motos winning the 2nd moto. Impressive.

The water is entering on the ex side of the cylinder. This is a very interesting new cylinder design. Thank You ESR for your continued investments and hard work into the 250r.

Suspension and Chassis / Re: 1986 250r long travel setup?
« on: January 25, 2019, 12:22:24 PM »
I’ve been reasearching and found a company called koq racing they make a long travel no link rear swinger that bolts right up to the stock frame . They also make lt a arms 2+1  anyone ever hear of them or use the products on their bike? Also I read it’s good to go with a -1 or -2 swingarm instead of factory 86 length

I believe forum member and racer Burns363R  has used that KOQ swingarm set up. Maybe he will see this thread or you could send him a pm.

I was essentially down to the FMF and Pro Circuit for the main reason of needing a forestry approved spark arrestor.
Tony

You can run the fmf forestry approved silencer with most of the 250r pipes out there. Most of them were made with the stock silencer mount location and are interchangeable with each other. All of the non center mount ESR for example and led lrd that do not have a big stinger. There are a lot of options for you that will actually perform better then the fmf or pro circuit.

This CEO thing is all Eddie Sanders and Arlen was not involved with this. It answers a lot of questions about what eddie has been posting about for a couple of years now. He has had covers on his quad in photos for a while with ceo lettering if you look as his 2 fb pages. Arlen may be selling ceo kits like the other esr kits that he sells.

Same for the lynx being new and unknown though but I get it on both accounts.
Someone posted somewhere about seeing eddie play at the pismo drag strip with his stock swingarm ceo trx and it being very fast compared to the other full drag setups that were there.
I will buy a loto ticket on my way home tonight.
