Wish I could make, but I'm busy. So just a heads up if your coming south on 101 make sure u give yourself extra travel time traffics been bad! From Gilroy to Greenfield, lots of construction, uneven roads, closed off ramps. It's bad worse then most summers. The air quality is bad to cause of the fire, lots of emergency vehicles everywhere. It's also harvest time. So be safe in your travels. P.S. I believe the mid state fair is also going on Paso Robles and its 100 degrees plus down there.

Glad to see your excited about new build. Cases look sweet. Keep us informed on build. I'm curious how ESR cylinder runs compared to Sphynx.

Looks great! Needs a blue nose(lol!), hood or bumper. U nailed it on the seat cover. Haven't seen a white themed bike I like as much as your. Awesome job!

Body and Controls / Rear light compatability question

The light and mounting for taillight is the easy part. Mounting the brake switch and making it functional, more of a obstacle. U can do it!

Body and Controls / What Grab Bars Fit TRX250R?

Bolt patterns easy to drill. The width is  more critical. Trx450r 04-05/ 06-09(u need to cut exhaust mount off) is the right width. Ltz400 is also the right width. I haven't confirmed 400ex but I think the 450r (04-05) use the same part numbers. This was a thread a while back. I took the actual width measurements.

Suspension and Chassis / Thoughts and or where to buy ceramic bearings
« on: March 31, 2016, 05:44:47 PM »
If u look into it u will find that most ceramic bearings are hybrid style, steel cage, ceramic balls. With that being said jerry hit it right on the head, lots more performance benefits in minimizing rolling resistance/drag. Titanium is cheap relatively speaking when u start talking full ceramic bearings. U will also find that u cannot get every engine bearing in ceramic, so that defeats the purpose. Ceramic also still use a steel cage riveted together and do not like any contaminants cause or tight tolerances. With that being said I would use them on spindle mounted front wheels with titanium nut and cotter pin, only because it's easy to check and that's going to be popular/inexpensive size to run. My to cents, I'd rather REM the internals, way more gains per cost.
