looks nice.  what are the benefits?

looks nice.  what are the benefits?

Better fitment for those using ESR cylinder.  Maybe ESR cylinder versions have different intake angles but one comparison against a PRO-X showed 1* difference.  Seems like some people have no issue while others do have a problematic carb & air filter fitment.

Looks like it'll fit well.  I've heard some concerns over the added length causing lower signal to carb since it's moved back further relative to other intakes like stock, UPP, etc.

Going back to what Jerry Hall said before the site change I wonder about carb bowl vibrations with this style of intake.

The black rubber boot hopefully provides enough insulation

all the fuss with this here's what happens with carb alignment with an OEM frame. when I was assembling my led esr 363 here's what it looked like. I put together a mock up of a 30 degree intake and was ready to send it out to be fabricated at the same time I was posting on this problem sonny replied that he would look into this. i'm glad he did as i'm sure his intake would be superior to what I was working on.

That's at least a positive for your build.  Post up a pic when you get a chance, love seeing pics of that build!

What reed block are you using? I was able to fit a .550" reed block safety in a stock chassis.

Hello sonny do you currently have any stator covers or are you taking orders for them?im not too familiar with your products, what else do you make for the 250r ?
Title: Re: Billet intake
Post by: SFricia on February 02, 2019, 02:14:11 PM
Yes, I am taking orders on them. I have a lot of blanks machined, but I am waiting to finish a couple other jobs before I send them all out to anodize. I used to anodize myself, but I just don't have the time any more.

As far as other things I make, I make the stator covers, water pump covers, miniature stator cover keychains these intakes, front and rear fuel tank mounts, and I am currently working on wheel hubs, a brake lever, and maybe radiator mounts. Haven't decided on that yet.

I don't mind doing it, but I do not want to break the rules of the forum either as I am not a paying advertiser. I'll post pictures of the stuff I make, but I'll have to message folks privately for pricing.

If that too is against the rules, please tell me admin.
