I raced tt with the 450r swingarm setup the trike handles totally different. It corners alot better seams  to hold a line better.

Cool project. I have a few aircooled trikes.Im building a couple more.One is an 82 drag build I'm using a 300r with a trx 450r swingarm conversion and 200x frontend. You have the head on backwards.

When I ordered mine I got an email they were going to ship from another location. Couple days ago I got an email saying my order shipped. Got them this morning.

I bought a 04-05  trx 450r swingarm I'm going to be installing in this trike.I got a DG style adjustable link fitted to the swingarm and I installed my stock pivot sleeves. Also going to use my 86 style bearing carrier and brake setup for now.I have the 450r carrier  just needs new bearings.

I setup a TMX 38 on my 83 aircooled 250r it has stock porting DG pipe with Coffman silencer It runs well I think I need to bump my pilot jet up one or bump my needle up .It bogs a little till it gets warmed up.I pull a 14/38 gearing with 22 inch rears .I can beat 450s and a 500 Predator with it.

When I had to pull the flywheel off one of my 85 250rs I had a little trouble getting the puller to thread in so used my air impact. I just hit it a little at a time .

I found an oem 85 cr500 cdi,coil and kill switch on ebay got it for about 175 shipped.It works well I hooked it up to the motor yesterday and it has good spark.

I used toilet bowl cleaner on one of my 85 250r Bassani pipes works great.

I haven't seen this one before.Thanks I have enough saved for it.Alot for a used system but I'm sure if I sell the motor with the updated clutch cover and this ignition system I would be money ahead.
