@Jerry Hall
Had a really good write of the TM carb and the difference between it and the TMX.

Fuel injection pressure is a concern, My car idles at 450/500 psi and WOT is over 2400 psi

Different application but my latest falling saw is a fuel injection saw it’s a low pressure system that you prime when cold after that it’s just a single pull to start.

Thanks Joe. I've been talking to XFR Fab in Utah. These are their pics. They do represent the correct year to pic. They say each are unique.
Fred what about some spacers all the way around for a little extra clearance?

You use to be able to build one with their flanges, nice to see they actually put it together as a kit

Leave it to Jerry to go the extra effort and BLOW our minds! Can we assume, Sonny's billet intake would be the answer?

This is from Jerry’s paragraph
I have seen enough burned up pistons to fill a few 55 gallon barrels because of improper vibration damping when using old hardened oem manifolds,  billet manifolds with the short 2-bolt rubber flanges and reed assemblies that incorporate the carb to reed adaptor as a one-piece casting with a short hose and 2 hose clamps.

The coast is a blast, don’t forget to see some of the valley too or take a trip up highway 6 through the Tillamook Burn through Browns Camp.

20 volt grease gun having to do two tubes a day in one machine can get kind of tiring after 12 hours or the battery powered 4.5” grinder is a handy for just about anything from sharpening knives to cutting stuff off out in the brush.

I think it should work well

Looks like it'll fit well.  I've heard some concerns over the added length causing lower signal to carb since it's moved back further relative to other intakes like stock, UPP, etc.

Going back to what Jerry Hall said before the site change I wonder about carb bowl vibrations with this style of intake.
