have you guys had any troubles with the gears lasting while using the sling shot lockup clutch?  Would seem that it would be way harder on the gears due to no slippage at all compared to a non lockup with stiffer springs.

Suspension and Chassis / Re: Rear Shock for CR500 Linkage

I love my PEP ZPS dual rate spring rear shock on my laeger.  Now I am not a racer just ride trails and sand dunes but I have never ridden anything smoother

That is good to know about the JD arms because I don't have any 88 or 89 spindles around.  And I figured the roll arms would use 400ex or 450r spindles.   I really love my pro trax but that motor in that quad is way too wild for the woods.  I would buy another one if they were still made and parts were readily available.  But my laeger just does not turn in the snow. It pushes the front end.  Not sure if it is just the way this wide of a machine is or not.

I just use stock wheels and the width is just fine right now.  Now does lets say a set of JD long travel arms make the bike handle differently than a different brand of long travel arms like Roll Design or Walsh of the same width?  Or is most of it in the durability?

I don’t have a roll lobo chassis for those arms

I have considered a roll front end but +3 would be too wide.

I am just looking for the best possible handling and ride for a stock frame quad. My other quad is a laeger narrow +4 t-pin so I want to try to get as close to that as possible with a stock frame.

I have some older laeger +2 +1 a arms that need ball joints.  Standard travel.  Thinking about just buying new arms instead of replacing the ball joints.  In everyones opinion, what would be the best brand to go with as far as handling?  If long travel  is that much better than that is what I would buy.  Woods and dune riding.  I have never been on a race track in my life and don't plan on it now.  Price is not a major consideration but I don't want to overbuy if I don't have to.

Wanted / Re: Rear Caliper

I used a 1999 yz125 front caliper on the rear of my R.  I had to file out or oblong one of the holes in the brake caliper stay a little but other than that it bolted right on.  They are cheap and plentiful on Ebay.  I can't tell the difference between the factory caliper and this one in the performance.  Just the price!!  And there is no e brake cable to have to block off.

Any progress on the matching impellers?  I bought 2 impellers last run and have been waiting for the impellers
