Considering the price for a good set of used cases, these replacements are a solid option

Can now purchase from Arlan directly, and in a more 'ready to go' fashion.  Cool!

I too have met Craig.  Bought and traded parts with him.  I don’t think Craig is a member here.

Are the bearing pockets "Masked" to prevent them from being anodized or remachined after anodizing?

Most anodizing whether it is hard anodizing or decorative anodizing changes the dimensions of the metal.  Anodizing penetrates the base metal as much as it builds up.  Let us say the anodizing is .003" thick, it will penetrate the surface of the aluminum .0015" and builds up .0015" above the original surface.  Main bearings may fail if the bearing pockets are .0005" too tight.  All of the other dimensions in the cases being changed a thou or two would not be that critical but bearing pockets dimensions are critical.
