I just came back from there (not riding) and crews are out there pumping water out of the ponds, and running heavy equipment getting it set up for Dunefest. The crowds are already filing in from all over the country.

I'll be there Monday to check on the progress. They better have my spot ready lol. Actually if the area where I'm planning on camping is wet I'm ok with that. That way sand isn't blowing in my beer!

It should be! They were grading the sand getting it ready to bring in the bark dust/wood chips.

I always wondered how ppl got way out there on the right hand side of the dunes. When we used to sand camp out there on the dunes, it was always a guarantee dad would bury our ford up to the axles.

I air down the trailer tires down to 20psi and my rear truck tires go down to 25(because of the toy hauler tongue weight) front truck tires go to 10. Pulls like a champ. The dillweeds that get stuck have to get pulled around by a dozer
