Appears to be a bad idea in my opinion.   As mentioned could scrape oil away and throw the assembly out of balance if it not done with an attention to mass and location and the consideration to piston durability.   All those dimples are areas where three will be heat concentrations.  Just an assumption but I would avoid such a crazy approach that could probably be resolved with more clearance.

Engine and Bottom End / Re: I’m new and can’t find it. Port work

If some of the more common 250r builders are not taking new work I would recommend Ken O'Connor as he built and ported a 250r engine for me many years ago and it was more than satisfactory.

The big air tour has a can-am hybrid that is pretty sick.  It's in the Butter movies I think.

anyone running ethanol in their machines these days?  that would make it much easier to meet your RON/MON (octane) requirements.  I know it gives my car an additional 100 or so hp over 93.

very nice.  polishing has additional benefits many don't consider.  it adds strength and makes cleaning much easier.

me, troy and a few others discussed having the the suspensions axis point at the center of the frame, probably 15 years ago on atvriders.com    the juxtaposed version has been used in desert racing for years.  not sure this is innovative.
