But we've all been told a pv is useless above 330 :)
The guy was a freakin genius. I am thinking there is a reason he spent alot of time outfitting these 1200cc motors with power valves. Don't ya think?

Re: 1988 trx250r rear motor mount issue(please advise) I've had my R for 30 years & have never run it without the head stay bolted to the head. The most important thing is checking torque on the engine mounting bolts regularly regardless if you decide to bolt the head to the head stay or not.

If this was already posted please delete this thread as I didn't see it.

Very Interesting. It looks like what Eddie has been working on for a while is ready to be sold.

Re: 2020 Winchester 250r meet up. Just sitting here at work thinking about the 250R meet. We came up with some great idea's for activities a while ago.  Did any of them spark an interest?
I know the meet is still several months away, but do we have any idea how many people are hoping to be there? Should we try to get a head count? I ask about numbers mostly for planning the meet and great bbq lunch.
Also it was a treat to see Mr. Sanders show up at our camp and eat with us let alone go for a ride! Does anyone friendly with Arlen want to press him to appear? I will work on Pete as I am sure others will. I rode once with @havvinoj and @traxman a few years ago and had a blast. I have not seen Damon since that day. I would love to see someone strong arm him into making an appearance.  He is a pretty cool guy to shoot the poo with.
All things considered,  I have had a fantastic experience every year this took place.  I can't believe how far some people have traveled to attend. Hawaii, Ohio, California, Arizona, and Nevada to name a few. One crazy sob even flew into pdx and within a few hours purchased a 86 trx250r! That particular fella has a  permanent seat at my table.
Through this event and this forum I have met people I will be friends with for life.
I can't wait to see what this year's event brings us!

Re: Please remove my threads
Just because people don't agree with you does not mean they are against you. Lots of people disagree with some of my thinking. Well like you it makes me try harder to prove them wrong. But I dont hold it against someone to have a different opinion then me.
Some guys swear up and down with compression checks ans leak down checks. You spend your time what you like to do I am just going to go ride.  We all ride the 250r, thats good enough for me.

Re: Triple pass Radiator
That is a fair price.

Thanks

To me, figuring out pricing is one of the hardest things to do as a business. Because on one hand I am an enthusiast like everyone else and think to myself "would I buy this or that for $xxx price?", but on the other hand I value my time and want to stay in business. My goal is to put out as high quality products as my ability allows, at the lowest price I can afford to.

There are quite a few more products in the works that will be coming out this year and next that are unlike anything else available, there's a few big names in the industry that are aware or have been involved with the refinements over the past 5-6 years. This radiator was kind of a byproduct of that R&D.
