OK got ya. I don't see a patient anywhere so I guess I can copy them no problem. Heres the one on ebay.

BDT copies everyone else so there is not a problem with me copying them in return.

I am not seeing alot of adjustment on these. You would have to know the outside measurement of the manifold boot when carb is in there. Yes its do-able

Right, just cut time. You will see that drilling and tapping the holes will take some time. Then you have material and plating.

Carlos sent me a clamp to copy, bless his heart. The ring I came up with in my head seems to match the BDT clamp within .005". I will proceed to refine the part and get some of these made up for those of you that do not want to line the pockets of the olds sites 250r salesman.

Yes they are waterjet cut. My sample has terrible edge quality. So the outside has been extremely sanded to give it a machined appearance. :Boobies2: But the inside is a waterjet cut. Don't know who said they were billet but that is:lies: if they are saying it is machined from a solid chunk of aluminum.  By definition. A billet is a solid block of aluminum (or any material) with the size depending on the size of your desired part. The larger the desired part, the larger the billet. Contrary to casting, billet parts are created by removing excess material from the billet, essentially the part is carved out of solid aluminum. Both parts above were cut from a sheet of 1/4" aluminum.

I guess you really can't tell but there is no adjustment on these. If it does not tighten up its useless. I was thinking the little one I made was to large. But the one I got from BDT was .010" bigger. I hope all the inlet and outlet barbs are all the same size. I can see this not working if the barb is too small. I am  ESR's barbs are on the big side.
Title: Radiator clamp request
Post by: JesseA420 on August 10, 2015, 07:06:42 AM
in order to make them able to tighten down a little more (be a smidge more adjustable) u could just make the gap between the top two tabs where the bolt goes through a little larger

Typical use of the go to flashy impressionable words billet, oem, like oem, oe, factory, and many more used in misleading ways to get you.

I kind of doubt he'd get a patent on a clamp. There's about a million different clamps out there. I'm sure this is a variation that already exists, only different part is there custom sized to fit a specific application. Besides, if there patent pending for anodized then these ones can pe patent pending for being powder coated! Ha! Put that in your pipe and smoke it! Bit$%!

We checked with USPTO and found nothing. Ebay response was Patent Pending does not have an issued Patent #, not until the patent Issues publicly...Check with USPTO.

Even applications at USPTO have registry #'s. Until we get a # from Believing Delusional Thoughts, production will continue.

Therefore, it would not be appropriate to allow patent applicants to stop others from making, using, selling, and importing the invention (e.g. patent rights) described in their patent application because it is possible the Patent Office might later determine a patent should not be granted.

Further the copier might try to redesign the product/service to avoid the subject matter of the patent application after receiving your notice.

Occasionally a notice letter to the copier will be effective. In other instances you may need to wait until a patent is granted to take action.

Correct and we will be handling all questions about these through PM's as he cannot use this against you.

I would not waste my time copying a patent pending article. But since this is all Hype these will soon be available to the public and sold on Ebay with the improved non patented version.

exactly sam! and as you notice over at the other place he has gone off the rocker! now hes actually bashing people. the most unprofessional act a business owner can do. hes only hurting himself now. i posted a very nice article from a law firm and he now is saying he doesnt care what the article says. i believe this article to be correct to the law so in a sense he is saying he doesnt care about the law. all he needs to do to shut this all down is to give us his patent application number! thats all! and he wont even do that. probably because he doesnt have one.

I would like to place an order for 10,000 radiator clamps please. Please package each one in an OEM ziploc bag
I have 9,999 of them finished for you. But I will have to contact Carl to see where to get them OEM zip lock bags.

No one is building these cause Carlos threatened to sue everyone on this site who replied to this thread in supreme court. We went on to say the lawyers are going subpoena you in court to go into your private emails and or paypal records to prove you bought his patient pending parts. He is a nasty work of black art. Pretends to be with the 250r brethren.

He has it on his ebay auctions. If you ask him he tells you to look it up. I could never find it. :Carlos_Kiss:

So it has a patent pending, and threats of legal action are being made, yet nobody has actually provided a #?  That's just odd.
