New guy and my new R
First R for me. I've wanted one since jr high and I turn 30 next week so it definitely took me a while haha. Seems to be a solid quad as far as moving parts go. The frame is garbage and unfortunately I didn't realize that until the day after I bought it. Anyways, I'm pretty happy to finally own one. I am going to be busy for the remainder of summer cutting trails through 40 acres of woods. Anyone around North Alabama let me know. Would like to have some extra knowledge around as well as another R. Feel free to give advice! I'm a gear head and wrench turner on everything from rock crawlers to street cars, but as I said this is my first R. Help is always appreciated. It's a 1988. Re: New guy and my new R
I would fix what you have. It really is an easy job. I think that is the way I should go as well. I'm sure my frame is tweaked a bit, but I'm not a racer or doing anything serious so I think some welding and the gusset kit will serve me well. I'm kind of a fix what I got type of guy anyway. Re: RADIATOR HOSE CLAMPS
I work in aviation and can get you just about anything with a part number, drawing or mil-spec. Aircraft usually use some pretty overkill parts. I will see what I can dig up. Might even have something in stock in the warehouse.

Re: Street Legal ATV
You can make quads and sxs legal here. But they are limited to 35 mph Sure would be hard to stay under 35 haha. Street treads on an R would make for a fun trip to work August 07, 2018, 02:44:08 PM |

Re: 2Nubs's boondock build
Figured I would share the new tag. Relevant to the forum I suppose, as well as a pic of my mutts (no tails, get it?) in case anyone was thinking I had lost fingers haha. No other pics to post unfortunately. Some more OEM parts have arrived and a nice quick cut off nozzle and filler hose for my VP fuel jug, but that's about it. August 09, 2018, 09:56:28 AM |

Re: LED or Robl intake for air-box eliminator?
I can't seem to locate the red versions, but I will eventually. I have white, black, purple, yellow and blue. August 10, 2018, 11:01:37 AM |

Re: 2Nubs's boondock build
Woot! Frame is finally here. All the factory stickers made my day haha. Looks very nice. Not a single crack and hardly a scratch. Bottom side looks excellent, even the smash pads under the front. +1 for Ceasarthethird. Great seller. August 14, 2018, 02:35:08 PM |
