i want to go! need to make some time to step out for more rides, Little Sahara OK is prob more feasible for me to make it to than jericho UT little sahara for mosh at the mountain. throw whatever dates out work for you guys, might drag a few 3 wheeled R's out to play ;)

Doug and I were just wondering about this about 2 days ago. I'm super busy at work right now(no Lorettas for me and Neil was asking me about Ashtuba(mis-spelled prob) today-which I also won't make), got another trip sometime in Oct(for dirtbikes) and am planning on prob doing Goldrush the 1st weekend in Nov(it's a race and a tradition for me). I can already tell all this will be a PITA for me, but almost everything always is for me so I'm pretty used to it. Let's try to get some dates nailed down so I can try to make them all please.

I've tried several times to make it to a dunes forum gathering...  Maybe I will have all my toys running for this one. Fall Break and Labor Day are both always good weekends with good crowds and nice weather.

Somebody come up with a few dates so I can attempt to take vacation for the ride.  What about the same weeks as bhq?  I enjoy the drag bikes and meeting the people.  Any ideas?  Plus maybe a few fast 250r's there.

Doord521 at 3wo has a 40' toy hauler that we use to go ride. If he goes we might be able to meet in Joplin and all ride out together.

Was married 10-11-03.  Can't make it this time guys.  10 year wedding anniversary...will be riding that weekend just not a quad.:devilish:

i was hoping to go and still might... But i have spent over $1000 in car repairs in the last month and a half. $600 once and $450 the other time. Time will tell whether i can make it or not...

We all wanna see that thing run Wayne. That sucks you've had to drop 1000 in car repairs. I don't even wanna know how many 1000's you have in that QOTM :). Now I have even more stuff people are wanting me to do around this time frame, but I plan on picking the dune trip. Last I've heard, Doug(oldskoolr) was going too. I'll double check with him though. Dan you could of made some money off this trip by becoming a minister and then catering that wedding too. LOL.

That's cuz I WAS slow getting up. That angle doesn't even come close to showing the true slope of that dune or that it had already rolled once and I was hanging on to keep it from rolling anymore than it had too. I wanted to see your nutcracker jump off that same jump I was doing. Now that I see the vid, I'm thinking that 3rd pinned wasn't enough, but I didn't wanna risk 4th gear. Regardless it was fun and most importantly, nobody got hurt. I hadn't rode quads in a few years either btw. It was great to break out the R and ride, especially since work got into the way of the last spring trip.

Dang, I didn't know I got in the way of seeing Doug's landing. He was nose high and crooked too. He didn't wanna play anymore on that jump after that and that was his first jump LOL. Scared me just watching it in person!
