Thanks Joe, sent your stand out yesterday. This post was a answer to Carlos's statement that I was evicted from my work and did not have a business anymore. The first half the post got deleted by FFpower. I posted the building from the street. The overhead door open with a quad frame and a couple motors on a rolling table. Packages going out priority mail. You can only put so many pics in one post. Sometimes there is not enough room on the page.
-
Gotcha...
Looking forward to receiving the engine stand... Going to be nice working on an engine that's not wanting to roll all over my work bench ha ha! Love your polishing work, looks top notch to my eye!
-
you should be able to put 5 picks in one post. Do you need me to add more than 5
I have found that on occasion the ability to post more than 5 would be handy. Saves making 2 posts where one would suffice.
-
Looks good,I knew I should've ordered motor mounts when I ordered my coil mount today!

This was something I copied on Monday. No worries.

You know it is serious when you handle the polished parts with white gloves. Nice shop tony.

That may be objectionable material right there. Wheres a mod? JK LOL

Wait, Tony is not a mod? Is he just a Martyr?

FFpower said Fred was a Martyr. He has not come up with a name for me yet. Oh wait, its in my signature.

puma, what do you think about making rotor and sprocket guards?
john
-
John, did you have a design in mind? Its easy to make parts. The hard part is building something that works, is popular and does not cost a fortune to build.
-
Puma- if you could make some frame guards- to protect the paint where your boots rub it off, I'll buy two sets.

i was thinking something you could cut out of aluminum or stainless like many of your parts. maybe use spacers and longer bolts. obviously be round. let me find pics of something that will inspire. troy is an excellent designer, im sure he will help.

Hmmm I like that front sprocket guard. Possibly make one that replaces the washer/bolt setup.
-
John, you mean something like these?? :) obviously these are on my 450. And I don't have a stock frame to test them on...but if pumashine is willing. I would send these to him for reproduction. This set I've had on that quad for 5 years and their just starting to wear.

I believe we want to stay with aluminum. The UHMW is light and I cut this stuff for hours on the waterjet. The plated steel ones might look stronger but I think the point is to just keep junk from derailing the chain. That aluminum front one is real cute. In real life on a 250r its going to be much larger. It is much more economical to build than the wing design we all have by Honda.

Don't be ridiculous, that will never work!!!!!!

Something like this?

Cool tony.
-
you got the idea puma. i love UHMW its light and durable. aluminum is also a great idea. i am just so brutal on parts, as im sure we all are and i hate paying hundreds for something i will break and need to replace for a reasonable price. plus, i hate standard swingarm skids. they always get hung up and rip bolts from the machine.

Are they on the site yet?? Make them and I will buy. Oh and I think you need to take that one back to the polisher, slacker.
