Oem big bore cylinder 72mm with cut oem head. Cylinder is ported for mid to top end has a really nice port work. Unknown porter has a number on bottom of cylinder from porter. Number is 15269. Bore is at 72mm firs bore on the cylinder. Cylinder is in ok shape I have done a light hone with a stone hone and cleaned up good needs a final hone with ball hone. Could be used with just a piston and hone but will leave it up to the buyer. $150 obo update

does it have any trouble holding a head gasket and are the ports raised at all? looking to build a stroker sleeper setup.

Didn't have trouble with head gasket ran cool. This engine had be to tether for a long time. Don't know how long but it had a 87 style big bore piston and they haven't Been made for a long time. Piston was for a long rod crank and didn't use a spacer plate. Water pump shaft broke due to the balancer bearing going out or it would still be runing. As far as the port timing goes I don't know. I could measure it if you have something to go off of.

if you could just measure from the top of the cylinder down to the top of the exhaust with a pair of calipers and get the same measurement to the top of the transfers. that would be great.

Top of cylinder to exhaust is 42.5 mm
top of cylinder to transfer ports is 60.5
ports are very even they are as close to the same hight as you could get
Bore with my caliper measure 72.01
well let the buyer make the call on the bore could be used but is always better to bore
