Help just got a 330 pro x cylander and thank the cylinder skirts have Been cut off. Got it off eBay just came today. Thank some one cut them off to fit with out boring the cases what you thank. Should have at least a 1in in the cases. Let me know. Don't want to spend any money on a junk cylinder.

Its a bolt on 330 esr pro x cylinder. No case boring needed, used only with long rod cranks

Ok just scared me I know it was a bolt on cylinder. Just thought the lower skirts would be turned down to fit in the cases but after trial fitting on a old case set it there is no room for it to work that way thanks for the help. Now just need to get a piston and have it honed

the old bolt on cylinder did have real thin skirts, but I guess they have eliminated that problem, but probably created some extra piston wear with shortened cylinder skirts

Well that what I thought it shood be. To me it looks like a piston had came apart and cylinder skirt were broke and some one had cut the rest off the skit off. Bottom off the skirts looks like it was cut off with a dia grinder.i will get another pic

That is an old Pro-x casting, probably back from when ESR was using Pro-x cylinders, but theres no ESR markings on the casting in the first pics & the second pics wont load to see.
