I welcome ignition developer colleagues.
Take a look. The high-power DC-CDI ignition.
Circuit diagram:
The code is working:
Features:
High efficiency dc-dc converter (~95%!).
High spark energy.(10000rpm=~80mJ,)
Low rpm MSD Ignition.
Rev limiter (high-low rpm)
Ignition timing adjustment (°/rpm,4  curve table.)
The firmware, low-time algorithm= 25uS! Therefore, no operator program.(8MHz internal oscillator, Assembly source.)
Option: Plasma spark preparation!:greedy_dollars:(Caution: Iridium spark plug, 0Ω internal-external resistor!!)
There is no extra power consumption! Stored in the ignition coil, the use of residual energy!

Look at my videos:https://www.youtube.com/user/ignitionyemi/videos
Thank you for your attention.

The development continues.

Regards nyemi.

   I have to be Hungarian.
It is difficult for me in English.
Thank you for your patience.
I was looking forward to their questions.:coffee_pc:

nyemi - This is over my head but welcome to the forum!

Now if only we could dissassemble an OEM C.D.I. and let NYEMI know what we're dealing with....Or find a Schematic for the 250R CDI. I've tried to get the urethane out of a CDI and it just won't break down with Acetone. :(

Welcome to the Site - NYEMI :) Hopefully you can shed some light our dilemma of trying to find a GOOD replacement for our Discontinued CDI.

I did find this.....if it helps....it's NOT a 250R....but it is a 2-stroke CDI

Welcome and please keep us posted on your progress with your CDI

Zeeltronics has there CDI setup to work without a 12v battery which is a big plus for many people, are you able to run your CDI from a voltage regulator/capacitor setup
