I just got my cylinder back from Herr jugs racing. He is reasonable and a really nice guy. It looks really nice, but I haven't put it together yet to see how it runs. Good luck.

If you haven't put the cylinder on yet would you mind posting pictures of the port work? I ported my own cylinder & would like to see how it compares to a professional job.

before you decide on a builder give arlan with led performance a call. see what he can do for you. this guy after a short phone conversation can really impress you with all the knowledge he has. i havent had him build me a complete motor but i wish i would have. all of your performance upgrades will cost obviously, but some will cost you more in the long run. having a knowledgeable builder on the build from the start goes a long way. i will tell you he has been a grate help so far helping me sort out the mess another builder left me with.just try not to build(although i know its hard when u think builder x is $300 less then builder y) by up front price as some builders will leave you with a darn mess and more than $300 in fix its. good luck.

Agreed.  I had Neil port my cylinder and it runs great and he's a really nice guy to deal with and is really passionate about 250R's.

I can't take credit. My buddy (quick310r) is an R whiz and and checked out my motor when I got it back. I'm sure other banshee builders know how to build R motors but go ahead and pass on Herr

I really love the way my Neil ported pro x 310 cylinder runs.  Power from bottom to top!!!  I would definately recommend him based on personal experience.  And he is VERY reasonable on pricing also!!
