Title: Truck tires
Post by: Bigred on October 13, 2013, 06:30:06 PM
Looking for some 265/75/16. Or 285/75/16. Obviously I'd like to get some for a good price lol.
More looking for a mud tire instead of a road tire I enjoy them more for winter months

I've got a little side business doing lifts, wheels, tires, and some performance stuff.  Discount Tire is usually cheaper than my cost from my suppliers both through their site and their ebay store.

Ok then, check on me some 235/75/15 mud grip tires for my ol pickup. You know, just a plain ol mud grip tire like the farmers used.
My supplier wants $150.00 each for a new tire that size & I'm wondering if the ol trucks worth that much.

Yeah, I looked on their site & pulled the size I needed up, said $77.00 for the 1900 lb rated tire or $87.00 for the 2100 lb. Where is that place located, cause I figure shipping would cost quite a bit.

Their website says Edgemont, SD but I'm pretty sure they moved to Hot Springs SD. Either way the shipping would be the same. They have a shipping calculator on their website, to ship four 285/75/16 tires to central MI is only $100.

Hummm, so you would be closer to them than I would be, so only way I could get from them would be if I happen to be in that area, which I'm not, so I guess $150.00 each delivered from my suppliers not that bad after all.

Treadwright's Crawler M/T in 235/75/15 online price is $87.00 per tire. For four tires with 1500 miles worth of shipping is only $448.00, quite a bit less than $150 per tire. Just food for thought.

Another spot to shop for used stuff is here: www.greatlakes4x4.com (http://www.greatlakes4x4.com) - It's a pretty big off-road community with a big for sale thread.
