I'm thinking about getting an IMS/Roll front bumper. Just wondering if any of you are running 400ex bumpers on your R's. I'd love to see a picture of one.
Also, is anyone familiar with Burgard cycle front bumper? Another picture of a bumper on a r that I'd love to see.

You are correct. I have a 400ex in the garage and the bumper (Ac racing) fits the 250r with some spacers. This probably would be true across all manufacturers. I'm looking for some pictures or recommendations in the IMS and Burgard to see what they look like on a R. Everyone has Duncans but I could get 2 bumpers for what those cost new. I also like the HMF bumpers....

No one else has any bumper insight....geeez. Leaning towards a trx450 Borich IQ bumper from HMF. Looks like a quality bumper. Threw away $85 with a AC racing. Horrible fit. Guess you get what you pay for.

Post up a photo of the bumper you are talking about. TRX450r, 400ex, ltz/kfx400 fit with a different spacer combos.

my sons r has a blingstar from a 400ex on his 88 trx250r and all it needed was some spacers on the botom mount. we r traded a guy with a 400ex maltese cross for our trx250r iron cross. prety sure we just spread the 250r bumper to fit the 400 at the bottom mount

I use the Pro armor Pro-am bumper I think it looks great with the lines of the fenders. Mine is from a 400ex.

Here is what I'm looking at. Standard trx450r or buy the Borich in polished and then have it pc'd black. Just really looking for a pic of one of these mounted on an R. Think I just pave the way....

I've got a pro armor pro am for an LTR450 on my 86. Fits like a glove.

Decided to go with the HMF. Top mounted up perfect with no spacers. Bottom did not line up (about 1/4" off) so I'll be drilling the holes out a little.
Could be my particular frame. I'll have to check this against my OEM frame.

I really like the way that bumper looks on there....so that was for a Honda 450 right?
-
Yeah - TRX450. I'm drilling new mounting holes about .45" up from the current bottom bolt location to get the angle/fit right for my taste. Just for comparison sake, I'll try it on my 400ex and stock 250R tomorrow and get a better picture. I am very happy with the way it looks and fits even though I need to drill some new holes.

How much?

This is a 450r IMS on my 250r

I really like those Roll bumpers. Did it line up pretty good or did you have to egg out the holes?

Top lined right up. Bent the bottom jus a lil but no spacer needed!

Love the Roll Bumpers, this one was for a 400ex as well! See the 1/4 spacers on each side!
Thanks Higgy!
