Title: Trailtech temp gauge
Post by: chrisr on October 22, 2013, 09:08:27 PM
Anybody use one of those trailtech digital water temp gauges?  Are they worth a crap?  I'm in the market for a temp gauge and thought it would be nice to have the display up on the bars.

On my pilot motor bike I had it mounted to the handlebars with a lil mount I made.  My bike now has it mounted above the upper coolant line on the frame rail with a mount I made, Ill get pics tonight.

Hard to see but look at the handlebars at the bottom where it mounts to the stem

Here is my current temp gauge. I wish I would have spliced it different in the hose but shit happens lol.

on my 450 I cut a hole and brazed a fitting in the water outlet on the motor  so I get the temp coming out of the motor not going in,, those things are very cool and very simple ,,, love it!
