Rotax is used by Bombardier or skidoo.. not sure about other manufacturers

seems rotax made engines for all kinds of stuff. thats why i cant find exactly what cylinder this is

Rotax is part of BRP - Bombardier Recreational Products which so is Can-am, ski-doo, Sea-doo and others

+1 one of BRPs engine casting plants is located about 10 miles from my house i have a few friends that work there ill show this pick to them and see if they know what its off of.

I remember years ago that the american made ATK dirtbikes had rotax engines in them. Also my friends dad has an ultralight plane with a rotax in it.

It's definitely off of a SKI-DOO....Measure the BORE and that will narrow down your search quite a bit.
It's a Case reed inducted motor.....which narrows it down further (so it's not a 700 or 800)
Does it have a RAVE valve ?
Try looking on E-bay for a ROTAX cylinder.....you might find the same one and it'll have what it came off of in the Description.

That is an Aprilia RSR 125 Cylinder. Send me my prize. :joyous:

its not my cylinder but rather a pic i found. i had a hunch it was the rsr but couldnt confirm it because there seems to be some many darn rotax on various engines. reason i was inquiring about the pic is because i thought i saw a rotax jug with similar porting to the rsa. is the rsr very similar to the rsa ? wanted to see what bore it was and if it could fit on ktm 300 cases but if its 54x54 then obviously that aint gonna work. hoped it might of been from a 250cc engine
