Post by: red88r on October 29, 2013, 08:43:20 PM
Cleaning out the shop and getting ready for winter.  Keeping my 87,my 88 project and the 88 with the #75 down to work on them.  The rest are going on my storage rack in the back of my shop which is not heated.  My Dad's is the #81 250r and my brother's 450 is on the far left.

Thanks Jon....that's cool you will have a nice spot for your wheelers then to wrench on them.  I don't know how I got anything done ever without it.  Was out on my own for 10 years before I could build it.

Haha.....kids will do that to you.  I don't have any yet.  My brother is 4 years younger than me and had his 4th girl on July 3rd.

Yeah our first house had a nice one car attached garage with a heater.  All finished off.  But the house was only like 24'x44' on a slab so we had to make the garage one big room so we had space for everything.  My shed at that time was 20'x32' with two big sliding doors and I added a lockable service door.  And it was also gravel....sucked big time but I did alot of work in it.  You got to start with junk then it really makes you appreciate the nice stuff imo.  Here is where I hide all my junk. lol

Man that is nice jeremy, I want a garage so bad. You are lucky and with the property to ride and hunt on as well. I want to have all that one day myself.

32'x56' with 12' side walls and 10' foot doors.  I was going to go higher but I don't own a big camper or trailer.  Front 32'x30' is heated.  Back 32'x26' is cold storage.  The attic is 12'x56'.  Keeping the shop at 50 degrees when I wasn't in there and 60 degrees when I was took 267 gallons of propane last winter.  Not bad at all considering how cold Wisconsin winters are.  And last year propane was only $0.99 a gallon.  It went up some this year though.

Yes Jamie it is nice to have the land.  I have room around me in the woods so nobody can build/hunt next to me.
