need help guys. So i pulled the trigger the other week and bought a brand new CT Racing pipe. I know everyone has different opinions on the best pipe but i went CT because Allen has been real helpful to me with info and setup. As some may have seen im building an Arens 250R, just tried fitting the pipe using Pumsahine's exhaust hangers and none of the mounts come even close to lining up! the Arens frame does not even have a mount for the expansion chamber bracket and the rear silencer mounts are WAY off..... please help, is it the frame or pipe? what pipe fits this frame? i have been wiggling this around for the last 2 hrs and there is no way i can get any of the mounts even close

just tried fitting the pipe using Pumsahine's exhaust hangers and none of the mounts come even close to lining up!
I don't recommend the stock replacement hangers unless you are replacing the stock hangers. If you can get the pipe where it fits best and measure hole to hole I can send you the hangers that will bolt up. I make them stock up to 2 1/2" center to center on the bolt hole locations.

nah the silencer is way off. Pumashine ill try to get measurements but its not just alignment issues the mounts on the silencer end up different angles to the frame, cant even twist it enough to line up as it ends up coming apart

ill try getting photos. Came to the conclusion this pipe is just wrong, gonna ring Allen on monday and see if i can send it back. Anyone have a like new pipe you can cut me a deal on? ha ha

I have a CT pipe on my LSR frame and I was able to get it bolted up. I had to wriggle it around some but I got it, wasn't to bad. I am using TM design works hangers, not sure how different those are from the ones you are using.

think im gonna need a Curtis Sparks, one reason is they have the mount on bottom of expansion chamber and im pretty sure thats Hartwill had on it.... gonna need some luck finding one

I use the lower mount also...
Isn't their a threaded boss hole infront of the gas tank mounts for a piece of flatstock? For a top mount?
I too used TM Designs hangers for the 2 on the silencer and the lower expansion.

ok got some info from Allen at CT. apparently the geometry is slightly different on the Arens frame and requires a custom exhaust (angles are different) im spewing but Allen is onto it for me and going to make one up. Also explains why a stock length chain didnt fit too. So much for a stock replacement frame
