It is just mocked up for fitment now. I have holes I need to cut in it to put it on a diet. Then finish it. 14 gauge stainless.
Never tig welded before, but I did today!:jumping0041:

14 ga. stainless sounds pretty heavy duty. Looks great. Just askin..do you guys use these alot where you are riding?

Up in east tn they are really needed. Should have went with 11 ga. but I had the scrap so I thought I would give it a go. I will cut several holes in this one to lighten it up. I made it mostly to try out tig welding. May even put a stock one on. Just sort of seeing what I can do. This bike has your hangers BTW (Outstanding product and service)
There is a lot of custom fabrication work on this bike. Stretched 450r swinger, custom triples. foot pegs. stainless swing arm bolt, front Hub, axle, stainless rotor hub, Re-bored Douglas 10" wheel, stainless rear brake pedal, stainless motor mounts, polishing, powder coating. (99 percent of all this I did myself). Still have several things to do. Paint the tank , more polishing and powder.
This motor will get this 85 cr jug.

Then sometime it will get a 350 sphinx engine.
