I got two pipes that I can use on my spare R. One is a FMF Gold Series and the other is a Paul Turner TRX Race? Just wondering what one is a better pipe and what the pipes are for (low end power, all around, top end, etc....). I had run the FMF on the motor that will be going in this bike. It sounded good but just didn't have much power. But the cylinder was ported like a mofo (back yard port job I think).

The Paul Turner will accelerate a lot better than the FMF even though there is a dip in the middle of the power curve with most port jobs.
The FMF pipe will rev to the moon but will take you for ever to get to the moon. I have not found any port combinations that make the FMF pipe work. I am not sure what FMF's design goal was other than getting your "Gold".
