Title: Drilling different bolt pattern's?
Post by: broken1 on December 15, 2013, 08:47:03 PM
I just got a set of skate 2's & holeshot fronts on wheels with polaris bolt pattern. I got plenty of room on the rear's to drill the honda bolt pattern but the fronts are 4x156mm. The center hole of the front wheels is 130mm & with the honda 4x145 this will put the holes about 2-3mm away from the edge. Do you guys think it would be a bad idea to drill the holes so close to the edge if I use thick fender washers on the wheels? Or should I just sell em & get honda wheels instead?

ive had a few sets redrilled but never that close to the edge of the center hole it would probably be fine but theres always that 1 tree, stump, rock  that jumps out at you and puts just the right stress on your wheel i think if i were you i would pass on that idea and just find some honda pattern wheels cause theres always the what if in that situation.i think the rule of thumb is to be at least the diameter of the stud  hole away from the edge
