I'm trying to install a JJ&A play axle and I noticed the sprocket hub had a lot of space from the bearing carrier. I know it's supposed to have a bit of space but this seems a bit excessive. I tried to tap it lightly to see if it would go in more but it wont budge. Any ideas what's wrong? Or am I overreacting and this is supposed to be normal? There's also a bit of space on the brake hub as well. I'm not sure if it's normal.
Here's pics of both:

Have you tried to install the rotor and caliper to see if it all lines up? Same with the sprockets and chain? I don't have a JJ&A so I cant be specific sorry man.

I'm eyeballing the hub and it doesn't look like it lines up with the front sprocket at all. I suppose I should actually try installing it and see if it lines up. I'll try it tonight and post an update. Thanks!

I know it's a stupid question but did you loosen up the bolts on the sprocket and rotor hub before you tried tapping it?

Alright cool!! I was spending time with family today and didn't have enough time to work on it tonight. Thanks for checking for me! I really appreciate it!
