What does the set up on that 370 consist of? Carb, pipe, ignition, fuel, etc.

If i could ask, what brand crank did it have in it? what brand will you guys be going with now? Reason I ask is, I am still trying to deciding what route to go with for my 5mm.
Thanks.
Derek
-
it had a oem esr 4mm in it but that crank went bad memorial weekend so a 4mm hot rod crank was thrown in it

I see. how long did the esr hold up? just talked with crank works and they want $650+ to do the work on my crank..
Derek

I sent in my like new oem crank they rebuilt it to a 4 mm. I bet I lasted 5 years maybe little longer
-
That's a sweet looking trike and fast man, and awesome video too. Keep up the fast times and the fun guys, I miss the dunes bad, haven't made it in 2 yrs now. It sucks to be broke.
-
Good luck this weekend if you guys are still runnin it. Looks like you should have some good cool air for racing this weekend if it stays dry... Let us know how it goes.
Derek.

Thanks bigblock, ran some ok times on the 370 atc Sunday. Bke Went 4.33,4.32,4.4,4.33,4.34 but then the weather went against us raining the rest rest of the day so we called it an early day. Overall it was consistent so we were happy with that but we didn't do much tuning with the rain so we weren't able to get what we were looking for. Hopefully we can get out with better luck on the weather one more time this fall and do some tuning.

This 3 wheeler is honestly the nicest I have ever seen! and it runs as good as it looks.
Nice meeting you Mark we will have to meet up for some more racing next year

Thank you very much Dave, appreciate your help and advise yesterday. Oh and let me tell you guys, Dave's liger was representing yesterday for the Honda boys that's for darn sure. Great job, great time slips and the nicest looking single cyl Honda drag build around. Not too often you see a one lunger dip into the 3's naturally aspirated. Good job guys!
-
No problem Mark as you know I am no expert but its always good to bounce ideas around for consideration!
We gotta stick together out there in the sea of Banshees :)
-
Mark is that the drag strip by Silver lake? Will you be there this coming weekend?
-
The videos earlier In this post are from the track by silver lake, west mi sand dragway but Sunday the track we were at is a private track near Howell mi. Oh and this weekend no I will not be doing any racing.
-
Very impressive guys, keep up the good work

west michigan is up for sale with rumors of it not re opening next year if its still for sale
Hopefully that doesn't happen, IMO west mi is the nicest one in mi. It hooks well and is nice and flat, well groomed and has a good timing system. Keep our fingers crossed someone buys it and re-opens it..
-
I seen it was under new management, was somebody just leasing it this year or was it just bought this year.
I have heard allot of people where not happy with the sand dirt mix this year, more dirt was added and trucks and buggy's were breaking more parts than in years past from hooking harder.
I wonder if they added more dirt to be more consistent with other tracks, I believe they are now a Planet Sand approved track now so if you run a record breaking time there it will be honored
-
Seems like the (new) owner was trying to improve the track and get some out of state recognition by being Planet Sand approved. Did they need to add more dirt to get the PS stamp of approval? Wonder what happened? Is there usually a good sized crowd when they are open and running events?
We have passed it many times yet never stopped to see the drags. We were talking about finally stopping there this weekend to check it out.
-
Sky I believe you are correct, changes seam to be for trying to draw in some big events. When ever there is change you will always have people unhappy.
Problem is, this is a small time sport and honestly it seams to have shrunk in the last 4-5 years, hopefully the owners can be profitable enough to keep it running.
-
It was under new management same owners as before. The new management is a relation of the owners he was responsable for adding new dirt and a new timing system and tring to turn the place around. It has been on a slight decline for years. The changes made were great IMO. The track was pro sand approved this year when they had the mayhem in the mitten race. It is not planet sand approved. Track records can be had there but your fuel must be checked at the tower at the time of the pass and they do not have the tools to do so. At the mayhem race the Jeff Ross from the bomb racing had his personal kit there. I hope they will continue to run while its up for sale.
-
thanks for the correction Johann, I guess that makes since since the Mayhem in the Mitten was not a planet sand race.
-

Negative, not one time. Havent started her in a year, shoot haven't even seen her in 3 months. Too much life going on. Race this weekend I was gonna hit it hard, but no go. Depressing. I was able to jump on a puma couple weekends ago for my only passes of the year.
-
A little birdie told me this trike is undergoing a makeover........
-
Awesome!
-
It's going naked I heard :fatigue:

Lol:eek-new:
