people keep saying these are discontinued but i just picked up my 3rd set in the last year from local honda dealer. they were $84.95 +tax each. not trying to argue or anything but i dont understand why i keep hearing that there discontinued. edit i just checked and RMATV has them for $78.09

You are right I just checked, but I believe wherever has them it would be only in inventory. Also they are on back order at RMATV so not sure what that would mean. Just trying to help people out I know there popular around here with hillclimb guys.

look at honda specific parts for 05 450r and go to rear wheel it will show they are on back order.

501s come on the 400ex and 400x models the `05 450r (that year at least) didnt have the 501s i bought an `05 new cant remember the exact tire number but it was different than the 501s cause i replaced them after about a month with 501s

It shows up as optional on RMATV for rear tire, 400ex-x models show only the 501's.
