Yes, posted directly from my phone. Yes I did make it, now they aren't limp during removal and they are solid when installed.

I made the "z" brackets as well the maier ones were to short for my application. The black staining is from the welder and tacking it together while in place.

Just the tube in between the "z" brackets would stiffen them up for removal and installation.
