Can you use an 86-87 seat latch on an 88-89 frame and seat pan?

Hole patter is completely different on the inside but the same on the outside. You would have to remove the posts that are part of the seat pan. See my latch thread for the different patterns

Thanks Tony. Maybe I'll pickup an 86-87 seat pan and use that latch. I am accustomed to the 86-87 latch so the 88-89 is a PITA for me!
