The photographer that took those pics does an amazing job. He posts up on another forum I'm on quite often.

Just do it. Couple years ago decided it was time to go to glamis. Took 3 days of driving each way, but totally worth it

Thousands spent on quads, guess they ran out of money for safety gear and had to ride in jeans and shoes.... :character0029:
Beautiful quads though!!

Good Darn thing they don't enter qotm. Most all of us wouldn't stand a chance
-
I like when I see a puma gusset kit on them purdy bikes. The green one has it.

Thanks for sharing Ryan

Nice article. I always love seeing articles about the R's.
I wonder what the 'custom modified Honda 450R airbox/filter' mod consists of and what the benefits are. Anyone else heard of this? I tried searching.

Dune riding is awesome. I spent 3 days riding in Glamis last month. It was awesome. Just wished that I could have rode more. I burned about 13-14 gallons through my 330R and my 450R.

You will see a lot of that in the dunes. I must confess, I wear jeans over my riding boots. They are comfortable and they don't melt on my pipe or scratch my frame. I tried the baggy style pants and they freakin melted all over my chrome pipe. Can't have that.

Ditto!
I would hate staring at that one spot on my pipe with black gunk all over it :upset:

I ride in work boots, jeans, helmet and gloves. Thats right, no shirt. Not because im poor, but because its comfortable, and if you crash, it teaches you a lesson :D
Its funny because i actually laugh at people who come to the dunes in full mx gear. I have an instant perception of "poser" which is wrong of me to judge so quickly. I guess it comes from alot of posers at our small dunes here in MI and they bug me because you can clearly tell who doesn't know what they're doing, and thats when people get hurt.
I have nothing against those who wear full gear truly, it just amuses me in sand.

out here in CA ,mostly everyone wears jeans, shirts and work boots in the dunes ,I do aswill

Thats what I'm talkin about!! Love those bikes!!! I'm sand sick now, thanks alot!!! BLING BLING BLING, I could get along with those two. As for the ridding gear, I've broken to many bones to NOT be wearing it all the time!!!!
Thanks Higgy
