Maier is the only company making plastics for the TRX250R now correct? Fullbore and Laker are done? If so, we should all push Maier to continue making products for our quad and come out with some new products as well. A couple years ago I bought new Maier plastics for my 89 TRX250R and I was pretty happy with their product. It would be nice if they came out with new designs and more colors, a set similar to Fullbore Full fender plastics is what I would be interested in. I emailed Maier and I would suggest you all email them to. It would really suck if nobody was making new plastics for our quads.

Who keeps saying laker is done? I just called them about a month ago

they show them on their site:

The site is now under construction and they don't have their phone number listed. That's not a good sign
Laker is very good quality plastic, i'm surprised more people don't try them. Especially because everybody cuts their front fenders anyways

Lakers are badass! I hope they are still available.

About a weel or two ago, the question of what happened to Laker was asked on another forum I belong to. Below was the response from someone that lives nearby and is in the ATV industry:
Closed. Kalani shoots for a living now. Bad dude with a pistol.
No idea if it is true of not, but Laker's site being under construction and no contact info listed on it isn't a good sign.

This is what happens when you play the "I heard from someone on the internet" game
Just call them lol

They do list, contact information. Telephone # goes to voice message. I hope they are just on hiatus. :dejection:

I was just going to their home page, www.lakercustom.com (http://www.lakercustom.com). There is no contact info on there, and you can't navigate to anywhere either. Looks like you can find the info through google searches, but if the average joe just goes to their homepage, nothing.

I'll See if we can negotioate some plastic's made, Maybe try a Large Group order. something worth the owners time.

That is a great idea Ceaser.

not to mention that Maier is also reducing the color offering now. black, white, red...is it.

you are correct they are reducing the colors that are offered but you can still get the "discontinued" colors if you purchase 5 or more sets.

You can take this to the bank, its true, cause he sponsored my daughter & son-inlaw a few years back & he told Chuckie he could make more money shooting than he could trying to keep up with all the different fender sets.
Now it might be theres a new set sitting somewhere, like old stock hes not got rid of yet, but DFR (Dirt Feind Racing) was a dealer for Lakers.
