Rocky mountain ATV has the best price on the bottom end mains and seals. Get the 89 model. Comes with the 8 ball mains the 89 and cr500 uses. The brand is all balls but they are from OEM makers Koyo.http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/757/546/All-Balls-Crankshaft-Bearing-and-Seal-Kit?v=1918

May want to check out partzilla.com.  I get everything from them and haven't found anywhere else cheaper!  Most places get you on shipping but these guys are realistic

I usually don't change the shift drum.  The other bearings in the bottom end are constantly spinning, I would definitely recommend changing those, but the shift drum isn't constantly spinning.  I generally don't skimp on my rebuilds, but the shift drum bearing doesn't even see 1% of the use that the other bearings do.  Heck, it doesn't even see 0.01%  I usually only change that guy if the bottom end is blown and I'm worried about shavings and particles.

I saw motosport is having a sale right now on OEM parts 25% off and they have free shipping over $100. I haven't compared the prices to see if there cheaper then service Honda but I usually buy from there if I'm getting other stuff too.

Got this from a post on FB. Part#s for all the bottom end bearing. Choose a quality manufacturer. You can get some of this stuff on amazon.

Here is an engine bearing list for anybody that does not want to pay 250$ from Honda, it cost me $60 for the set, or doesn't want to risk getting Chinese made from boss bearings. (made that mistake) and don't buy china made, stick with good names, toyo, koyo, ntn, and Nachi all made in japan by the same 2 plants

63/28 ×2 crank
6203lua x2
6905z x1 single shield
6205 x1
Sx0483 x1 (22x56x14)
Counter balancer 16007 x1
7e hks 33x38x8 needle bearing x1
Tm 6203 x2

http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/honda/HP-91004-GJ5-023.html is the CB small bearing

I got my bearings from Honda Toledo East. I to did not replace the shift drum bearings because they felt good and are not a high speed bearing like the others.
