This part is needed so bad, bought a pipe without the silencer for my wifes bike during the rebuild, thinking i could jsut get brand new one from ESR WITH A SPARK ARRESTOR, turns out they are creating a new spark arrestor and dont have any right now. So im desperate to get one with a spark arrestor, i guess i could try and fab one up myself, but am not willing to risk it at this point.
I am willing to purchase a brand new silencer, not spark arrested, and trade for used one with a spark arrestor. OR i will buy just the end off of you.
Long story short, I JUST NEED A CM STINGER WITH SPARK ARRESTOR BY APRIL!!!

if it comes down to the crunch and you don't find one I have a new centermount with spark aresstor I would let you use till you get the right one,,, you pay shipping ... and repolish it before sending it back....

Kasey, you have no clue how much I appreciate that. No clue at all. I will keep you updated!

If Kasey sent you his silencer, you could try having AAEN in WI build you one using it as a template. They use to have a turbine core style (like a FMF) insert that they put in their silencer, but the last time I did talk with them they said they were working on a different style and did not have anymore of the turbine style so I ended up doing a bunch a internet searching and found the company they bought them from in California and bought some for my project (I might have a extra)
They fit a 3" tube but I modded mine to work in a 2.5" which technically you would void the Forestry approval but you can not tell and in all reality the turbine part is not touched.
Maybe you could send Kasey's silencer to LED also???

I have a silencer that is spark arrested on my bike, just need an exact replica of it for hers now. Are you saying i could put the turbine core type in it Dave?
Silver hasnt given you any issues with this method?

I have only been really questioned twice in the last 7-8 years that I have been running them, at first glance they dont see a sparky or markings but it passes the stick test and I carry a copy of the certification in the truck since I haul my bikes in with my truck.
The fact that they are not marked with a forestry approved label throws off some of the dnr guys but after they inspect it its obvious that they meet the requirements. If you do have AAEN build you a silencer make sure you tell them you want it at the outlet of the silencer not the inlet, for some reason they like them on the inlet but they will only confuse the officers even more

Dave, thanks for the great input! Do you have a turbincore laying around you'd get rid of? im going to go home and pull my silencer apart and see if i can make one up, or if i could make the turbincore work.

I will have to look if I have any left, i will let you know, if not I should still have the contact info to buy them from the manufacture

Awesome, i appreciate it greatly Dave. I contacted AAEN too via email to see what they could do. I really dont want to spend a fortune on it, but ill do whatever it takes i guess.
29 days till the dunes open and im picking up my wifes chassis from the powdercoater this week, its GO TIME!

you will want the Krizman 650A I believe just ask for the highest flow model
I do not know your fab skills but this project will more than likely require cutting and welding to work so just be prepared

Thanks Dave, I got a response from AAEN and they said "We are out of spark arrestors, I suggest, looking on the net to find something
that might work.
We cannot fab one, we apologize."
So looks like i will be calling magnum, thanks again Dave!

I thought about doing a sparkey as a temporary fix too. just make sure i have a good rubber boot on it!
-
sparky's are getting hard to find since they quit making them, and yes they were notorious for falling off!
-
Hmmmm, upon an ebay search, sparkys are tough to find, but i can find spark arrestor screens for nearly any 4 stroke pipe haha. The wheels are turnin!
