I put these in as deep as they would go in the cases. To me it look like there definitely isn't enough thread there, and this is without a gasket. Let me know what you guys think

You don't need to run them all the way into the case. Does not make any sense to run the studs in with an inch of threads in the cases and nothing for the nut to grab. You need at least the thread diameter to go through the nut. Which means the threads have to be at least flush with the top of the nut.

My puma is the same way-I run a little blue locktite with no issues. If you are worried, blue locktite the studs and run them out a few turns.

Damn! I just assumed they were supposed to be bottomed in the cases. I've been test fitting everything on this engine before final assembly and the one thing I didn't check....
I Locktite'd the shit out of these things when I put them in. Guess i'll get them out and only put them in so far this time.
Thanks

Like Pete (Redred55) said those will work where they are at! Be careful not to over torque as you will strip the threads

I'd like to see them at least be flush with the top of the nut. Then I wouldn't worry a bit.

Hopefully the locktite has not cured yet!!!
