Just wondering if anybody here will be at the Little sahara snake hunt this year? Im going to be there with a group of friends and family. We will be in the cowboy camp.

It's the weekend of the 27th in April. Even if you don't bring the R it would be cool to meet another forum member.

I've been lazy and still haven't had my shocks redone(leaky fronts). Y'all have fun and be careful. It's a freaking madhouse on Snakehunt wkend.

We normally go sometime during the summer when we pretty much have the place to ourselves but we wanted to see what the snake hunt was like. I just hope that I dont get in any sort of collision.

Just be careful an not careless! We went for about 8 years every year to snakehunt, the last time a rzr smacked my rear tire an set me sideways about 3 dunes back from buttercup.(the girls where driving the truck to the powersports store an me an my buddy where racing them across the dunes)
It is kewl to see all the stuff tho but that was also my 2nd mishap out their...I don't want a third.

I mainly go on off weekends anywhere really,,, I'm selfish now...I want the whole park to myself lol But my buddy talked me into going with him an his family.

I agree on the off weekends if possible. Sam where are finger lakes? Are you referring to Kentucky lake area? LBL?

We try to be as careful as possible when were down there, even on the slow weekends. Im going to make a LED flag for the night riding so I am alittle more visible.

I'm with Sam. I want the whole place to myself. We went one time in the middle of the week and their was no tracks anywhere. That was awesome, but can be deceiving cuz the no tracks made it harder to judge stuff. On another trip a guy was jumping Buttercup 4th pinned on his shee at night. His buddy was riding sideways across the other side where he couldn't be seen and the shee guy came so close to hitting him that he actually hit his flag. I was right there and tried to wave the shee guy off, but it was night and he couldn't see me. Nobody was hurt, but I thought that one guy was gonna die since the shee's front bumper was at the other guys head level. That scared me!

Well I won't be able to make the trip this week. A relative is in the hospital and not doing well so well. My family decided to stay home in case something happens. Hope you all have fun!

I definetly wanna try out finger lakes this summer as well. Let's see if we can get a groups of 250r's out there one weekend
