Looks like a 4 lb box is $27.75 first class. A priority medium flat rate box is $42.45

Dont use the flat rate boxes, they are higher priced. Theres another box, an A or B type priority that is cheaper & still has the tracking number.
Ask, they have to tell you & if who your talking to dont say, ask for another clerk.

Its kinda crazy at the PO, its like if they tell you which is cheaper, your robbing the country or something. They are forgetting your taxes are where their pay check comes from.

I went through this all yesterday trying to get a set of shrouds shipped to member #300. A flat rate box cost $33. A 12x12x8 cost $7. I thought this was impossible, like some sort of mistake.

Thats what I'm saying Tony.
You go in the PO & need help, ask for the best & cheapest way & your going to get the highest price way to ship anything. Its like they are thinking if they tell you the cheap way, somehow it might affect their pay check or something.
I can tell you it dont stop just stop there, its like that with every state employee you know, at least it is like that in NC, those I know.
Poor ol state of North Carolina, broke as a convict they say on tv & then I look & here comes a spanking brand new NCDOT Peterbuilt tri axle dump truck down the road & got an aluminum bed on it to boot. Yeah, they broke all right.
If you pay attention to it, same thing is going on all over the USA, states & citys saying they are low on funds or about broke & whole time they are spending money fast as they can, money they aint got.

Sorry for the delay, I sent them priory on my dime. I need you to check the long bolt that came with the stand. Somehow some 5" bolts got mixed in and they are not long enough to go through the motor. Let me know and I will send the 5 1/2" bolt that is needed.

The bolt is 5", but that's ok , it's just a bolt. I can grab one from work. Thanks.
