Title: Streamline Billetanium Hydraulic Clutch
Post by: 2strokesforever on July 09, 2013, 08:59:25 PM
Anyone bought a Streamline Billetanium Hydraulic Clutch for a R yet? Wondering if they work as good as the Magura ones. Is easier/harder to bleed.

I ran a streamline on my 86 for only two rides before I decided to tear the quad down for a rebuild.  I've never owned a Magura so I can't really compare.  Bleeding wasn't too difficult.  I used a cheap parts store hand vacuum pump on the slave cylinder with the included bottle to catch any fluid.  The slave cylinder dosen't seem to have a very long stroke, so I had to adjust the linkage all the way in.  Even with the short travel, I had no problems disengaging the clutch.  The only problem I had was that the master cylinder cap o-ring doesn't seem to seal completely.  After each ride, I had to wipe off a little dust that had collected around the cap.  That, and the only color I could get was anodized orange.

Do these help clutch pull at all?  My clutch is brutal even with the 89 update and an ez pull lever...

It pulls smoother and a little easier ,but I wouldn't say it pulls a lot easier. my clutch was never hard to pull.
