Title: Rear brake master cylinder
Post by: muthahucker on March 26, 2014, 01:27:31 PM
Has anyone tried to use the new Fasst Flexx rear brake spring stiffener on a stock TRX rear Nissin master cylinder?  It looks like it would work with the older OEM Master.

It is the Rear Brake Return Spring in the category list.  Looks like it will fit any Nissin rear master cylinder and would be cleaner then the big return spring that wraps around the frame and rear brake pedal

You'll have to fabricate a push rod as this kit requires threads to be just below the contact point.....and long enough to fit the 250R

I had a friend make one from scratch and it worked!

I just talked to Fasstco and took a good look at the rear master.  It wont really work because its meant for the bike rear masters with a very short pusrod.  The TRX push rod is approx 85 mm long with very few threads on the rod...  This was meant for the bike pushrods that are very short.  Im sure it could be made to work if I took a thread maker to the rod and made threads all the way up to the top of the rod.
