Title: A-Arms
Post by: 08IRS on April 02, 2014, 09:28:51 AM
I am in the market for a new set of A-Arms.  I am curious if anyone has any experience with FullFlight or American Star.  I hate to go with a +2 arm but that is all that appears to be readily available.  I would prefer a +1 but no one seems to have them in stock except for LSR (my local dealer can get them in a few days).

I've also been looking at the JD Performance arms but they are built when ordered (3 week lead time).

I mainly trail ride so I am not sure if I want to go with a +2 for obvious reasons.

Any feedback or advise is appreciated.

A cheaper alternative could be aftermarket hub's that would give you around +3/4" per side. I have lsr hub's & douglas wheels with 2" back spacing on my 86 with stock a-arms & the front end is only 1/2" narrower than my wife's 86 with +2 laeger's, stock hub's & wheels.

My lower ball joint is bad so I will not be able to use the stock a-arms.  I can't believe they are not serviceable, unless I totally missed something.
