Really quick while I'm on here.
What is your guys take on x16 fuel? My info about VP fuel in Alaska might be a broken link. I want to stick with VP c12 but as I was looking at vp's site I noticed x16. Anyone run this or have experience?
I'm probably going to buy a drum before I move so I can use it and I want to know what is best for our engines. I'm running the race done with a 330 stroker.

just from looking at the site ...it looks like it has just a little lower read vapor pressure meaning a little better for warm weather starting to avoid vapor lock, but not quite as good for cold weather starting compared to c12

I know very little about it but from what I have heard is it's not good to let it sit in the carb bowls or even the gas tank for extended periods of times. The guy that I knew that tried it would purge the carb bowls with normal fuel like c12 at the end of the day and would drain the fuel from the lines back into a metal fuel can to keep the fuels light ends from passing thru the plastics of the fuel tank.
i guess it had a pretty strong nasty smell to it and is very expensive to run. IMO you need to find the easiest available fuel you can purchase that is consistent in its octane rating and within your budget. Then adjust the compression ratio of the motor to work with that fuel

I actually talked to the VP dealer here and he even recommended to stay with c12. It's a little cheaper and with x16 I might actually loose power.
