Welcome to the site Phil. Take a look at the FAQ's, How-To Guides & Useful stuff section for lots of great information. Additionally, the downloadable PDF service manual is sticky in this forum: http://trx250r.org/forums/78-FAQ-s-How-To-Guides-amp-Useful-Information (http://trx250r.org/forums/78-FAQ-s-How-To-Guides-amp-Useful-Information)

Doing an inventory check will be the hardest part but after a few hours I had it a rolling chassis lots of missing pieces but well worth the build

Welcome! Got a nice start for sure. You didn't by chance pick this up in WI/IL on craigslist did you? Looks very familiar to me.

Welcome to the site. You have a good start, i dig the old school fast trekkers. One of the many good things about 250R's is that parts are still fairly readily available because they have quite a following. Good luck with the build & keep the pictures coming.
