Title: What's the difference in standard and cr500 frames?
Post by: GO OVRIT on April 11, 2014, 08:20:28 PM
Aside from swingarm and shock diferences, what is different?  Can a standard link frame easily be converted to a cr500 link?

Not easily, the upper shock mount is significantly different.

the hard part is scoring the parts. Swing arm, linkage, and, shock. like said above the stock frame needs to modded. upper shock mount needs to move over and up. lower linkage mount will change too. Walsh is going to fab my mounts and give the specs as to where to weld new mounts.

its going to take me awhile but im getting there. i'll be happy to share any info I have. and a build tread when the time comes.
