Title: Air box lids
Post by: muthahucker on April 15, 2014, 12:11:44 PM
Does anyone still make the aftermarket airbox lids for both the ATC and TRX that will let you run a K&N prefilter on the top lid?
Thanks

EHS Racing may be what you're thinking of. Kind of a lot of dough tho.

Pumashine has made a few of the rings, but you need to buy the outerwares material...

I just cut the middle out of mine and am using a section of one of those reusable Heat/AC filters that are washable. Works super! Been using them for years. Never smoked a motor yet.

Cut the middle out and put panty hose around it.  :)
Not the best looking but it does work

I made up some kits. Ring, nuts and bolts so you could cut a hole in the lid, drill through the existing holes in the ring as a guide. Get a piece of material for a screen and bolt it together for cheap. I think I sold them for $20 shipped. EHS was not making them anymore I believe. This one is for the ATC

Last kit sold! I just got the airbox lid with a hole cut in it on my 450r. Just use the bag over the K&N.
