Title: First Races of the 2014 Season

Last weekend was the first two races of the Fast Traxx Grand Prix Super Series. I finished 3rd on Saturday, and I was the only one in the Women's class on Sunday. Seeing as I haven't been on a quad since last fall I was pretty happy with how well I ran. Crazily I actually had an faster overall time on Sunday which doesn't make a lot of sense since all I had to do was get through scoring once to win.

I'm really excited because they changed the series this year. In the past the SX/MX/GP was all combined. This year the Grand Prix races are a separate series, and there are 16 races (8 weekends) where before there was only 10 or 12 races.

Sounds like fun! It's about time you posted some of your racing info! I was beginning to think you had stopped racing. Sharp looking R.

Thanks :) I didn't race much last fall because the weather was so crappy, lol.
 
Hopefully by the next race my R will look a lot better. That plastic is completely uncut, but it was pretty scratched up and faded when I got it.  I've got new number plates coming from Cranked Up Gear, and my husband polished up one front fender with the boiled linseed oil/paint thinner combo, and it's working out really well. (I tried wet sanding the plastic, but that didn't really work out too well.)

Missed this....nice job!  I wish we had more quad racing like that around here.  Everything died when most everyone switched to bikes.

MXGP racing does sounds really cool. Never gotten to do it myself, but sounds like fun.
